Report on Japa Yajna held on 28 December 2025 at Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House and Cultural Centre

A Japa Yajna was solemnly conducted on 28 December 2025 at Swamiji's Ancestral House, witnessing the devoted participation of 415 devotees. The programme commenced at 3:00 p.m. and concluded at 5:40 p.m., creating a deeply serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere throughout the premises.

The programme began with the chanting of Santi Mantras, invoking peace and harmony. This was followed by the collective chanting of Chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita, which set a contemplative tone for the gathering. Thereafter, devotional songs were rendered, filling the environment with devotion and reverence. The spiritual proceedings continued with the chanting of Chandi, further intensifying the sacred ambience of the Yajna.

During the programme, Swami Jnanalokananda addressed the devotees and spoke eloquently on the importance of Japa and Dhyana in leading a disciplined and meaningful spiritual life. He emphasized that regular practice of Japa purifies the mind, strengthens inner resolve, and helps seekers remain focused on higher spiritual ideals amidst worldly distractions.

The Japa Yajna concluded in an atmosphere of peace, devotion, and spiritual fulfilment. The wholehearted participation of the devotees reflected their deep-faith and commitment, making the programme a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all present.
